Project SEARCH | Grand Rapids, Michigan

What is Project SEARCH?

Project SEARCH is a High School, transition-to-work program that offers a unique employment and educational opportunity for individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities. Project SEARCH serves as an alternative for students in their last year of high school. Three elective high school credits can be earned for successful completion of the Project SEARCH program. The program prepares these young adults for their future by equipping them with the skills and experience needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market.

Getting Started with Project SEARCH

Fifth Third Bank has partnered with Hope Network and Grand Rapids Public Schools to bring Project SEARCH to Grand Rapids. Through these partnerships, Fifth Third Bank’s Corporate Service Center provides a combination of classroom instruction, career exploration and on-the-job training through worksite rotations.

Given the state of the economy, Project SEARCH is more important than ever as it seeks to protect those left most vulnerable by an economic downturn. Project SEARCH is seeking support to expand its program throughout the state of Michigan and we need your help.
